Description

) I come across small Native American bark boxes decorated with porcupine quills now and then

Some overall age toning

so the second set with red eye balls was painted to do the trick

seem all the more as if perched high on a ledge

with nice aging but next to no loss to the paint

Lovely Antique Wicker Covered Bottle with Original Stopper drift wood ) I come across smallThe original stopper on this suggests it was likely made as a cologne bottle, rather than as a flask, but I can't find another quite like it, with this pretty open weave pattern to the basketry and fancy weaving knotting around the neck, which I especially love like a ruffly collar! A nice example, and completely usable still. Early 20th century I would think, with a nice fat rolled lip with lots of bubbles on the blown glass bottle. 5 1 8" x 3 1 8",
